The project encompasses erosion and sediment control, clearing and grubbing under arborist supervision, earthworks, demolition, and landscaping, alongside the construction of retaining walls, roadworks, and stormwater drainage systems. Electrical and communication works will also be executed, integrating lighting, CCTV, and access control systems. This extensive work will ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations while prioritizing safety and environmental management throughout the construction process.
Redevelopment of hospital precinct including roads, excavation, and carpark access.
Redevelopment of the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital Precinct. Works entail re-alignment and construction of Research Rd to Kauri Pine and Bunya Streets, bulk excavation to Western Corridor embankment along which major services are installed. Re-configuration of a T-intersection and major concrete works which entail a bridging slab to Level 7 entry of a newly constructed car park.
Concrete driveways, kerb/channel demolition, and stormwater reinstatement.
Road upgrade located on Thorn Street, Ipswich between Brisbane Rd and Mortimer Lane. Profiling of road, demolition of existing kerb & channel and driveways. Construction of 14 concrete driveways, pavement construction, asphalt installation, installation of detector loops, stormwater re-instatement and line marking with minor stormwater works.
Cycleway upgrades, footpaths, lighting, resurfacing, and signage improvements.
Civil works on Queen Victoria Parade, Ipswich to formalise the cycle facilities (Bikeway) along the Queen Victoria Parade verge and service road from Limestone St, to the “5 ways” intersection with Brisbane Road, Chermside Road and Glebe Road. Ipswich bikeway objective will ultimately form part of the ‘Eastern Ipswich Bikeway Link’ which will safely connect the Ipswich CBD with the Brisbane CBD via South St, Queen Victoria Parade, Glebe Rd, Brisbane Rd and the existing Ipswich Motorway Bikeway. The project involves asphalt resurfacing works, kerb/ garden edge works, new concrete intersection, pavement markings for pedestrian and cycling designated areas. Shared zone in front of the Ipswich Information Centre including pavement markings, new regulatory signage, minor civil works, kerb works, pattern retaining wall, painted Dda compliant footpaths and a speed control device from the vehicle entrance off Queen Victoria Parade. Lighting upgrades and installation to the front of the Information Centre and verge of Queen Victoria Parade.
